Global luxury womenswear and streetwear brand, Naked Wardrobe, is in search of a highly experienced Associate Product Developer to join our fast-paced team. This candidate will be responsible for creating innovative and fashion-forward designs and collections that align within the brand’s aesthetic. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of seasonal collections from concept through pre-production

  • Communicate daily with vendors, mills, and manufacturers to coordinate samples, obtain initial costing and time while actioning calendars

  • Maintain seasonal development WIPS, and to ensure all deadlines are met

  • Confirm accurate fabric detail sheets, and compose tech packs and line sheets at all stages of development

  • Collaborate closely with design, production, technical teams

  • Perform quality checks on incoming samples 

  • Manage organization of fabric and trims library

  • Attend fit sessions

  • Other duties as assigned

     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Textile, Apparel Design or Product Development

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in apparel product development

  • Passion for fashion with a strong understanding of fabric, fit, and function

  • Expertise in materials and techniques such as knits, wovens, denim, seamless, and full fashion knits

  • Demonstrate an understanding of construction, material and product creation

  • Experience in import development is essential

  • Prior experience in women's apparel product development is required

  • Proficient in garment construction and patternmaking techniques

  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite (PLM experience is a plus)

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills

  • Proactive and independent with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Team player who excels in a fast-paced environment while embracing efficiency and technology
