VETEMENTS
Vetements is a luxury fashion brand founded by Georgian fashion designer and businessman Demna and Guram Gvasalia. The brothers founded Vetements in 2014 in Zurich, where its headquarters remain.

VETEMENTS (from vêtements [vɛtmɑ͂], French for "clothing") was started as a clothing and footwear "design collective" founded by Demna and Guram Gvasalia. The brand was designed by a collective of their friends who had previous experience at Maison Margiela, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, CELINE, and Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Arts. Championing a more 'pragmatic' approach to fashion, VETEMENTS reflects the 'down to what today's youth wear. Vogue has stated: "Part of the genius of Vetements is its appropriation and refinement of mass culture into tongue-in-cheek garments."
