Position Overview:
The Senior Tax Accountant will be an integral part of the Tiffany & Co. global Tax team, supporting US and international tax matters for tax compliance, reporting, budgeting and transfer pricing purposes as well as measuring the impact of proposed tax legislation and its future tax implications on the business. This role will work closely with the Company's finance teams and Tax leadership to provide timely ETR and balance sheet updates including cash taxes and deferred taxes. In addition, the Senior will partner with external service providers on tax compliance calculations and related review of the federal tax return.
Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our Whippany, NJ office, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

The hiring range for this position ranges from $105,000 - $120,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.

In addition, the Senior will partner with external service providers on tax compliance calculations and related review of the federal tax return.

Key Accountabilities:
- Preparation of the quarterly and annual global tax provision and budget. Ensure accuracy of accounting for and reporting of global income taxes. Partner with tax team, business unit finance professionals, and third-party service providers in support of this goal. Work with external and internal auditors to support requirements related to income tax accounting.
- Identify, research and document the Company's position as it relates to the tax accounting consequences of new accounting pronouncements, changes in tax law, business transactions and activities in order to ensure the proper application of IAS 12 guidance.
- Responsible for the data gathering and preparation of US international tax provision, budgeting, and compliance computations, including GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, §163j, BEAT, fixed asset, Sec. 861 expense allocation, and foreign tax credit utilization.
- Partner with third party providers on the preparation and review of related US tax forms 1120, 8990, 8991, 8992, 8993, 8865, 5471s, and 5472s.Partner with third party providers on the preparation and review of related US tax forms 1120, 8990, 8991, 8992, 8993, 8865, 5471s, and 5472s.
- Preparation and review of federal book to tax differences for reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance.
- Partnering closely with finance partners to prepare the consolidated tax compliance calculations related to intercompany transactions.
- Work closely with tax compliance co-sourcing provider to review book-to-tax differences as well federal proformas and related forms and statements in the consolidated tax return.
- Assist with special projects related to changes in the business, tax incentives and opportunities, finance initiatives and various other topics.Assist with special projects related to changes in the business, tax incentives and opportunities, finance initiatives and various other topics.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of Tax experience at a large multinational company
- Working knowledge of corporate and international taxation, including aspects of U.S. tax reform
- Must have the ability to coordinate and work with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA
- Working knowledge of tax accounting principles of IAS 12 and IFRIC 23
- Experience with Hyperion, Oracle, Alteryx, and OneSource
- Understanding of state & local tax principles
The hiring range for this position ranges from $105,000 - $120,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
