Brand Communications Assistant - Fashion & Beauty

Conti Communications is looking for a Brand Communications Assistant to join their New York based team. Conti Communications is a brand communications agency founded in 2019 (with offices both in New York City and Paris, France) focused on press relations & editorial storytelling, collaborations, partnerships and events working with fashion brands such as Matteau, MOTHER Denim, Nine Orchard, NOAH, Repetto, Rouje, The Webster, TWP, as well as beauty brands including Costa Brazil, David Mallett, Flamingo Estate, Vintner's Daughter, Vyrao among others. 

Tasks include:

• The physical organization and management of the office

• Oversee brand sample send outs for editorial consideration

• Contribute to weekly & monthly client reporting

• Track press placements using our calendar and press tracker

• Upload client assets to our shared drive

• Manage and update editor information in our contacts database

• Maintain our media lists for each client

• Coordinate and support marketing initiatives with Conti Communications and its clients

• Assisting with gifting initiatives

• Assisting with client events

• Assisting coordinator and senior team members as needed

• Preparing agendas, sending calendar invites and keeping minutes for all relevant meetings

The Ideal Candidate:

• Lives in the NYC area 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• An interest in culture, fashion and the arts

• Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset

• At ease with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel as well as Google Drive & Dropbox

• Very organized and able to prioritize and work to deadlines

• Independent, confident and proactive

• Exceptional communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal

• Dynamic team-player
